Well this is it. It is raining, we cross the St John"s River and take another back road along the river very scenic and we have an entourage. Jaime arrived last night and is following the sag car. I feel like I am cycling in a rain forest everything is so green and lush and growing on top and out of anything. The bridge we were going to take is washed out so we have been detoured. Eventually we are back on the scenic route when we stop for a break and see an alligator swimming in the swamp, we were able to entice it to come a little closer. Now we are pedaling to St Augustine a little slower and savoring the monents we have a head wind to help slow our pace, as usual we are covered in sand and grit. We arrive in St Augustine and our entourage increases Howard has joined us. Our first stop is the Fountain of Youth we don't need it, this adventure has rejuvenated us, our bikes may need it. On to the Atlantic, we have arrived, what a great celebration with champagne and later dinner at the Columbia.

Congratulations on completing your adventure. Or I should say this one. I know you two will have many more. Why don't you rest a day then ride on up to Atlanta. Should be no problem for you hard core biker chicks. Well done!!!!!
Wohoo! You made it! I've enjoyed reading the adventure, and a great accomplishment for you both!

See Mom, This is why I said go to St. Augustine. It's beautiful and rich in history! Also You should of said " Dee-toured", instead of detoured on that bridge. I'm so glad you accomplished something most people in this world won't. I can't wait to retire!! lol!
And I wish I was there to meet you, if you want my friends number in Savannah, let me know!
