Madison to White Springs

It's not raining and it is not as cold as yesterday. We crossed the Suwannee River today and Maria seranaded us with the song Way Down Upon The Swannee River. We had more scenic back roads with flowers everywhere, what a way to travel. Almost as soon as we stopped for lunch it started to rain after eating we donned our rain gear and headed out we had less than 15 miles to go. White Springs is where FDR went for the healing powers of the sulphur springs Another really quaint town and we found a charming place for dinner. Rain is predicted for tomorow. The locals said they have not had this much rain and cold since hurricane Fay. Lucky us.

Enjoyed your blog but....White Springs is not where FDR went for his polio...Warm Springs , Ga is the place he went. It's up near Calloway Gardens
